The Department of School Education, Punjab has awarded the MIS 2.0 contract to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a next-gen Education Management Information System with an onsite Technical Support Unit to HMN.
The scope explicitly bakes in AI/ML-enabled insights, a web-based chatbot, and enhanced AI capabilities tied to ticketing and dashboards—moving from static reporting to predictive, assistive governance. Modules span student/academic workflows, examinations, infrastructure, staff transfer/posting, mobile apps, and integrations. The platform is expected to serve 30k+ schools, 60 lakh students along with their Parents, and 2.5 lakh teachers, aiming for faster decisions and measurable learning outcomes.

Odisha’s UAS brings 31+ departmental apps into a single platform with shared identity, workflow, and analytics. Modules include Teacher Transfer, DMS, Admissions, Student/Employee Attendance, Library, Mobile App; Exams & Holistic Progress Cards, Events & Awards, Grievance, and Timetable/Scheduler.
The platform anchors ~10 org units, 61,899 schools, and 82 lakh unique logins; usage includes 3.41 lakh active teachers, 9.79 lakh promotions across 9,983 schools, and 1,74,939 employee attendance markings across 5,953 schools (peak 18k/day).
Ops at a glance: 151K mobile downloads; DMS shows 105 assets, ₹5 Cr requisitions in 2024 with 8.73M dispatches/8.56M receipts, and ₹2.76 Cr requisitions in 2025 (ongoing).

Ambala Divisional Hospital ran a rapid Smart OPD pilot on a hub-and-spoke model. Staff used an intuitive app with inbuilt video calls and POCT devices;
ART (accident response train) scenarios and advanced tests (ECG, fetal doppler, portable X-ray) were exercised. Deployment included onsite support and handheld X-ray.
